Should you wish to register with the practice we currently have an open list and will be happy to register you should you be moving into the practice boundary area. Our surgery exists to administer a good level of medical care to all patients who are registered with the practice and our aim is to provide an effective and helpful service.
As you will see from the website we offer a variety of special clinics and provide links to a number of topics including medical conditions, self help etc. The surgery will liaise on your behalf with hospitals and community care.
As a new patient we would ask that you complete all the forms provided fully as this gives us the opportunity to find a little bit about your medical background. We would also ask that you return to the surgery a week after registering with us to use our 'Pod' to complete a New Patient Check to enable us to complete your registration fully."
We operate an appointment system where we will offer an appointment with the next available healthcare professional within the next 48hours. We recognise that this can sometimes cause problems for those patients who wish to book appointments with a specific GP; however we feel that this is the best approach under the current nationally directed guidelines. Please remember that if you need to see the doctor on an urgent basis then we will always try to accommodate you, however do not be offended if the Receptionist asks you when the problem started and the nature of the problem. They have been instructed to do so by the doctors and it is not meant to be offensive in any way, it just helps us to help you. You are able to pre-book routine appointments with other members of staff i.e. Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
The staff and doctors aim to be helpful, courteous and fair at all times, so please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff for help should the need arise. However, from time to time we may not always get it right and if you are unhappy with the service or have any suggestions for improvements, please do not hesitate to contact Miss Nell Montague-Rendall, Service Delivery Manager who will be pleased to help in any way to resolve the problem.
We do our utmost to provide an excellent service to patients within our financial parameters but, if there is anything that you feel we could be doing better please let us know. We are able to assist patients by escorting them to and from their consultation if appropriate. Patients who are registered hard of hearing are welcome to request appointments via fax machine.

Prior to registration, to help with our registration process, it is preferable for you to provide two forms of identification; one proof of photo ID and one proof of residency. The following are lists show acceptable forms of ID & residency.
Proof of ID and Residency (preferred, not essential)
ID & Residency: where possible, please supply 1 of these for both ID & address verification:
- UK photo card Driving Licence
- UK Firearms Licence

- Current passport
- Driving licence
- EU national identity card
- Blue disabled parking permit (photo version only)
- Police Warrant card or armed forces ID card
- PAYE coding notice (from Inland Revenue)
- Benefit or Pension letter (from current tax year)
Acceptable forms of Address (residency) verification:
- Current driving licence (if not provided as id)
- Utility bill (dated within the last 3 months)
- Council tax bill (current year)
- Bank Statement (dated within the last 3 months).
- Work permit or student visa
- Letter from Host college\Family
